FINDING NOWHERE
Legend goes that an old sage set out in search of a place
called ‘Nowhere’. The said place was rumored to be magical, containing
mysterious creatures, rampant with aromatic blossoming flora and it was known
that whoever reaches this place at dawn, walking for at least four miles
barefoot, got to see the face of God. What the sage didn’t know was that the
place held a secret. No physical plane could define it, no map could place it
and no mortal had ever been there. The unaware sage started charting his course
unfazed, asking about the directions from the oldest and the wisest. It was
during this course that he came across a mystifying young man who claimed that
he has not only been there but also felt God. Though very young age-wise, this
boy exuded a heavenly charm. His ever-glowing face held an angelic impression.
It was later revealed to the old sage that this young monk was held in the
highest regards amongst the elites. Wasting
any more time, the old sage thought, was not advisable. “So where is it?”, he
frantically asked the young man. The monk simply smiled. Looking at the sage’s
desperation, he replied, “The secret is contained in just three words: Close
your eyes.” And as the sage closed his eyes, the young monk’s blessed presence
transported him to a different level altogether. He felt love and for the first
time, understood it.
Love is the language of God. To find the eternal truth, all
we have to do is look deep within. We are a prototype of the universe, for the
human body is structurally and symmetrically aligned with the vast, misty face of the universe and the functioning tallies with the way God
runs this show called the world. The only action that needs to be checked is
that our thoughts, words and actions should be in a quiet harmony with each
other. Only then will the truth reveal itself.
