"For men may come and men may go but I go on forever"
Astrology defines the element of water as the most powerful
symbol in all zodiac signs. Earth and Fire are unarmed by the stirring presence
of Water. Its unique adaptability makes it a bare essential for life to exist.
When the temperature is low, it freezes to save itself from any internal
damage. Similarly, when the temperature is too hot, it vaporizes and manages to
stay intact at the chemical level.
Life and Nature are the greatest teachers that God has
provided bountifully to the mankind. Life revises the lesson that water
teaches. A weak student at water’s behest has to learn it the hard way from
life. One has to be adaptable. Flexibility in one’s nature ensures that a
person doesn’t become a slave to one’s physical body and ‘ego’. It is that one
element which allows God’s benevolent presence to manifest and be felt. Till
the time somebody is unwilling to let go of rigidity, one can not live fully.
The way any water-body moves varies greatly, depending on
the situation. It is with the same turbidity that life moves on and when it
faces a large rock, it slows down. Changing according to the circumstances is
essential for growth. It’s important to understand that there exist
circumstances which can’t be controlled and that this simply underlines the
fact that a larger power beyond anyone’s control is at play. This understanding
leads to dawning of real knowledge upon an ignorant mortal, hence, leading to
the following words: “God, Give me the strength to change the things I can, the
serenity to accept the things I can’t change and the wisdom to know the
difference.”
